English logo of project Safe City

Advisory services for active citizens on how to influence municipal institutions from the level of an individual resident. We will assist citizens, who are interested in this field of activities, in understanding 28 issues related to road traffic safety. Each case will be reported on the project website. Once the undertaken interventions end a teach-yourself book will be published based on the gained experience. This publication will provide valuable knowledge to people who will be willing to conduct similar actions (for example road traffic safety in the neighborhood of schools, demarcating parking spaces, reducing speed limits in housing estates).

The aim of this action is to support the activity of individual citizens with the help of experienced advisors. Another objective is to teach people how to unassistedly influence decisions of officials and to build competence of local leaders of change.

This activity will take place from 1.01.2015 till 31.12.2015.
