We'd like to present the final project of traffic calming in Karolew. The inner zone with 30km/h speed limit is surrounded by street with increased permissable speed.
Below, you can see the new traffic organisation with 30km/h speed limit and an uncontrolled intersections zone. The estate is surrounded by streets with higher permissable speed which parameters allow them to take larger traffic that would go past the estate: Maratońska, Bandurskiego and Waltera-Janke.
The project is an effect of workshops with residents, whom we asked to point to the most dangerous spots, tracing all accidents tracked by the police in SEWIK system and Road and Transportation Authorities' suggestions.
